Setting up Zendesk
Connect Zendesk so delivery exceptions and customer replies become tickets your support team can work.
Zendesk is your support inbox. Connecting it lets failed deliveries, missing proof and customer replies show up as tickets instead of living only in Routelink.
Before you start
- A Routelink account with permission to add integrations
- A Zendesk account and an admin who can create API tokens or install apps
1. Add the integration
In Routelink, go to Settings → Integrations, choose Zendesk, and give it a name you’ll recognise later.
2. Connect your account
Authorise Routelink with your Zendesk subdomain and an API token, or install the connection from Zendesk if that’s how your workspace is set up.
3. Choose what to sync
Pick which Routelink events should open or update a ticket — typically failed deliveries, customer feedback and tracking-link replies. Map the order reference so agents can find the stop quickly.
4. Test it
Fail a test stop (or send a test reply) and confirm a ticket appears in Zendesk with the right customer and reference.
