# Setting up Zapier

Connect Zapier so other apps can create Routelink tasks or react to delivery events.

Zapier sits between Routelink and the rest of your stack. Use it when there isn’t a built-in integration, or when you want a lightweight workflow without writing code.

## Before you start

* A Routelink account with permission to add integrations
*   A Zapier account

## 1\. Add the integration

In Routelink, go to **Settings → Integrations**, choose **Zapier**, and give it a name you’ll recognise later.

## 2\. Connect your account

Save the integration once, then copy the integration UUID into the Routelink connection in Zapier.

## 3\. Choose what to sync

Build a Zap that either creates tasks in Routelink when something happens elsewhere, or listens for Routelink events (new task, delivered, failed) and updates another app.

## 4\. Test it

Run the Zap with a sample record and confirm the task or follow-up action looks right in both systems before you turn it on.
