# Setting up Powerfleet

Connect Powerfleet to import vehicles and driver data, and export planned routes as orders.

Powerfleet is your telematics platform. Connecting it lets Routelink use the same vehicles and drivers, and send planned work back as orders.

## Before you start

*   A Routelink account with permission to add integrations
*   A Powerfleet account and credentials that can read vehicles and create orders

## 1\. Add the integration

In Routelink, go to **Settings → Integrations**, choose **Powerfleet**, and give it a name you’ll recognise later.

## 2\. Connect your account

Enter the Powerfleet credentials Routelink asks for. Use a dedicated API or integration user rather than a personal login.

## 3\. Choose what to sync

Import vehicles and drivers so planning matches the live fleet. When a route is ready, export it to Powerfleet as orders for the assigned vehicles.

## 4\. Test it

Import vehicles once and confirm they match Powerfleet. Plan a short test route, export it, and check it appears against the right vehicle.
